Dixie D’Amelio Responds To Being Called A ‘Rude Person’

Dixie D’Amelio has responded to comments that have said she is a ‘rude’ person. 

The 20-year-old social media star appeared on a Spout podcast to open up about the misconceptions that some people have of her.

In the interview, the interviewer says that she is a “bright light” and is “so nice in person”.

But from her social media, she has previously received hate from people that assume she is a “rude”.

“Some people say I might have like an attitude or like I’m rude and I get it because I do come off that way sometimes, but I’m very sarcastic,” Dixie shares.

“I feel people are more comfortable when you can joke around with someone,” she continues.

“So I’ll meet someone and I’ll just like joke around and people who like support me and I talked to on Twitter they get it, but if you just see a 15 second video me, they’re like oh my god she’s such a… I just tried to be myself and I love joking around with people.”

D’Amelio has an upcoming Hulu series, The D’Amelio Show, which premiered Sept. 3.
