DMX Cancels Concerts & Checks Into Rehab

DMX has checked himself into rehab after cancelling shows because of his addiction struggles.

According to his team, “In his ongoing commitment to putting family and sobriety first, DMX has checked himself into a rehab facility. He apologises for his cancelled shows and thanks to his fans for their continued support.”

He was set to perform on Saturday at the reunion concert for Three 6 Mafia in Memphis and Day 2 of Rolling Loud in New York on Sunday.

The Ying Yang Twins replaced DMX’s appearance on Saturday night. In January, he was released from prison after severing a sentence for tax evasion.

Before he was released, DMX spoke about wanting to see his youngest of 15 children, 3-year-old Exodus Simmons, who at the time, had serious health problems.
