Former ‘Drag Race’ Contestant Widow Von’Du Arrested

Widow Von’Du, former contestant on RuPaul’s Drag Race, has been arrested and charged with domestic violence.

The drag queen, whose real name is Ray Fry, was arrested on Monday.

According to TMZ, Von’Du is accused of assaulting her boyfriend after returning home intoxicated. However, Widow argued that she was just ‘defending’ herself.

The assault is described as extremely violent, with Von’Du beating and strangling her boyfriend before knocking him unconscious. Von’Du’s boyfriend allegedly required hospital treatment and 14 stitches to the head and face.

After contacting the Kansas City Police, People reports that Von’Du was charged with one count of domestic assault in the first-degree and three counts of domestic assault in the second-degree.

Widow Von’Du was released into house arrest on Tuesday after posting $5,000 of a $50,000 bond.

She is due to appear in court on June 7th.
