Leona Lewis Is Expecting Her First Child
Leona Lewis and her husband Dennis Jauch are expecting their first child together.
The X Factor winner took to Instagram to share the news with fans, posting a picture of herself in a form-fitting black dress which showed off her prominent baby bump.
“Can’t wait to see you in the summer ❤️”, wrote Lewis in the caption.
Lewis and Jauch, who have been together for nearly twelve years, were married in Tuscany, Italy back in 2019
Reports that the couple were expecting began to circulate earlier this month.
Confirming the news on his own Instagram, Jauch wrote: “Biggest gift I could’ve asked for coming this summer ❤️. You’re one hot a** Mama @leonalewis.”
A number of the couple’s celebrity friends celebrated the news in the comments.
“OMG CONGRATULATIONS!!!” wrote singer and American Idol winner, Jordin Sparks.
“Leona!!! Huge congratulations ?❤️???,” said actress Hannah Arterton.
“Yay!!!!” commented Vanessa Williams, while American blogger Perez Hilton adds, “THE BEST NEWS!!!!!!!!!!!!”
In December, Lewis commemorated the 15th anniversary of her X Factor win in another social media post, writing: “I look at this girl on stage and can’t believe it’s been 15 years. It all feels like yesterday.”
“To my fans all over the world who have supported me from my X Factor days to now, and have been on this incredible journey with me. I am forever grateful, you have made my wildest dreams come true! Love you all so much.”
