Will Ferrell Starring With Jamie Foxx And Will Forte In ‘Strays’

Will Ferrell, Jamie Foxx and Will Forte are to star in Universal’s upcoming comedy, Strays.
According to The Hollywood Reporter, the new castmates will voice act in the live-action, CGI feature, following an abandoned dog who teams up with other stays to take revenge on its former owners.
Ferrell is touted to voice the abandoned dog, while Foxx will voice one of his canine friends. Forte will portray one of his former owners.
Helming the project is director Josh Greenbaum, joined by producers Erik Feig, Louis Leterrier, Phil Lord and Chris Miller. The script was penned by Dan Perrault.
Ferrell has enjoyed a long and successful acting career, starring in the likes of Elf, Step Brothers, Zoolander and Anchorman. Foxx has also starred in a number of major titles including Ray, Django Unchained, Baby Driver and The Amazing Spider-Man 2.
Forte starred in the award-winning Fox series, The Last Man on Earth. He has also previously provided voice-over work for animated films like Cloudy with a Chance of Meatballs and The Lego Movie.
Strays reportedly completed production earlier this year, with the voices of the new additions being added through postproduction.
