Drake Halts Release Of New Song In Wake Of Astroworld Tragedy

Drake has halted the release of his new track Splash Brother’s on French Montana’s upcoming album in wake of the Astroworld tragedy.
The new track, which was suppose to come out on Montana’s new album They Got Amnesia on Friday, was quietly pulled from streaming sites on Wednesday and replaced by a new song titled Fraud.
According to TMZ, a source with direct knowledge said: “Drake asked for the song to come down before release because he’s still reeling from what happened at Astroworld.”
“He didn’t think it was appropriate to put out new music right now. French had no problem with the song being taken off the album – Drake’s his brother, and he totally understood his reasoning,” they added.
Drake joined Travis Scott onstage at Astroworld on Friday, November 5, 10 minutes after police decaled the music festival a “mass casualty” event.
The rapper claimed shortly after the incident that he was not aware of the “severity” of the crowd crush, that left 10 dead and over 300 injured.
