Kevin Durant left Golden State Warriors back in 2019 after the NBA finals playoffs in which he suffered an injury in game five. Durant won, back to back championships with the Warriors along with two finals MVP awards.

During a recent interview posted on Bleacher Report, former teammates, Durant and Draymond Green spoke about their 2018 fallout during the teams loss to Los Angeles Clippers, which started on the court, and carried over into the locker room.

Although the two made up in the weeks following it was the mismanagement of the situation that left both players blaming Steve Kerr and GM for how it left the teams atmosphere saying, “it wasn’t the argument” but how they “acted like it didn’t happen.”

Green spoke about his reaction saying that he told them, “’Y’all are about to f—- this up,’” with Kevin agreeing that he thought the same.

The mishandling of the situation left Durant feeling “weird” and when the season ended the player agreed to sign with the Brooklyn Nets.
