Duane Chapman, better known as Dog The Bounty Hunter has been diagnosed with a life-threatening heart condition.

The professional bounty hunter and reality television star was diagnosed with the condition three-months after his wife, Beth Chapman, lost her battle with cancer.

During an episode of The Dr. Oz Show, it was revealed that he’s been diagnosed with a pulmonary embolism. Dr. Oz told Dog that he’s a “ticking time bomb” claiming “You’re not going to be here with the heart the way it is right now.”

Last week, Duane was rushed to hospital with chest pain shortly after he learned of the scary heart-condition — he is now on the road to recovery.

His family wanted him to make some major lifestyle changes following the diagnosis, to which it seems the bounty hunter has listened and taken the right course of action to ensure he remains in good health.

Duane is now planning a new-healthier eating regime which also includes kicking his smoking habit.
