Ed Sheeran Is Writing Songs For JLS’ Comeback

The song-writing mastermind Ed Sheeran has been writing new songs for the group’s comeback.
JLS are preparing to reunite after splitting in 2013. The reunion was originally planned for earlier this year but was put on hold due to the pandemic.
The boyband were runners up to Alexandra Burke on The X Factor in 2008 and topped the charts with singles Beat Again and Everybody In Love.
Speaking on the Capital Evening Show, Sheeran said: “I’ve actually written a song for them, with Steve Mac who did Beat Again and all that stuff…it’s a classic JLS and it was a real, real joy to write.”
Ed has written hits for One Direction, Justin Bieber, Jesse Ware, Rudimental and many more.
JLS consists of members Aston Merrygold, Oritse Williams, Marvin Humes, and JB Gill.
They tweeted about their reunion in February 2020. “IT’S TIME!! Our #BeatAgainTour is coming your way this Nov/Dec. We can’t wait to be reunited with you all!”
The tour is now set to go ahead later this year.
