Edmonton Oilers Agree Extension With NHL Forward

Joining the Edmonton Oilers as the number 22 overall in 2017, Kailer Yamamoto has now agreed to extend his contract with the team.
In a season that saw him play 52 games for the team, Kailer led the rest of the forwards on the team in blocked shots. Playing an average 16:22 minutes last season, Yamamoto blocked 40 shots along with 32 takeaways.
Following the season he has now agreed a one year extension with the team. The Oilers are set to begin the season on October 13th.
