Elton John And Ed Sheeran’s New Christmas Single

Elton John and Ed Sheeran join forces for new Christmas single, Merry Christmas.

The Bad Habits star recreated the famous scene from Love Actually in a video.

Sheeran posted to Instagram, writing:”Our song ‘Merry Christmas‘ is out this Friday.”

“All UK profits from this year’s Christmas period will go to the Ed Sheeran Suffolk Music Foundation (www.essmf.com) and the Elton John AIDS Foundation (@ejaf )”

John posted in a tweet revealing that he called Sheeran “just under a year ago” about making a Christmas single.

Just under a year ago, I called @edsheeran to see if he wanted to make a Christmas single with me and now it’s nearly here!

The pair teased more of their music video with famous faces like Johnathon Ross and Michael McIntyre making an appearance.
