Eric Prydz & Wife Sofie Split After Nearly Five Years With Her Asking For Divorce

Eric Prydz has split from his wife Sofie after she asked for a divorce.

The 43-year-old and Sofie have two children together and have been married since July 17, 2015, but on February 20, the couple made the decision to split.

He is known for being a DJ and releasing the song, Call on Me, that took the world by storm in 2004 with hit radio stations still giving the track airtime. Before Swedish House Mafia formed, Eric was close to being a part of the trio’s group, but decided against it and continued his solo career.

In March this year, as the coronavirus pandemic took a grip of the world, also known as his stage name Pryda and Cirez D, went on the record to say all healthy people should contract the virus to enable the world to move forward, but later apologised after backlash from healthcare professionals.
