Erika Jayne Asked To Return $750,000 Diamonds Amid Tom Girardi’s Legal Woes

Real Housewives Of Beverly Hills star Erika Jayne has been asked by a bankruptcy trustee to return a pair of diamond earrings worth $750,000 gifted to her by her estranged husband Tom Girardi.
According to TMZ, a bankruptcy trustee has contacted Jayne requesting she hands over a pair of diamonds earrings gifted to her by Girardi because they were bought using stolen client’s money.
Court documents show Girardi bought the expensive earrings in 2007 from M&M Jewellers, using money that was in a client trust account from his old law firm Girardi & Keese.
In response to the request, Jayne’s attorney has said that the reality star had no idea where the money had come through for the earrings, however out of good faith, Jayne will hand over the earnings to a third party until a judge decides if she has to hand them over to the trustee.
“Even based on the incomplete hearsay evidence filed with the motion, the trustee has no claim based on Erika innocently receiving a gift of earrings 15 years ago from her now-estranged and then-extraordinarily wealthy husband,” Jayne’s attorney Evan C. Borges said.
