FBI Find Body Believed To Be Missing Influencer Gabby Petito
On Sunday 19th September, police reported that they have found human remains “consistent with the description” of Gabby in Wyoming.
“Earlier today, human remains were discovered, consistent with the description of Gabrielle “Gabby” Petito,” an FBI official said at a press conference, E! News reports.
“Full forensic identification has not been completed to confirm 100 percent that we found Gabby, but her family has been notified of this discovery. The cause of death has not been determined at this time.”
The 22-year-old was reported missing earlier this month after going on a road trip with fiancé Brian Laundrie, who is now a person of interest in the case. Authorities are trying to locate Brian as he also recently went missing.
Gabby‘s father, Joseph Petito, has shared a photo of his daughter to Instagram following the news.
