Finneas Named As World’s Number One Songwriter In 2020
Finneas has been named as world’s number one songwriter on Spotify in 2020. His sister Billie Eilish also made the top 5.
Music rights data platform Blokur have compiled data for their 2020 songwriters report which is set to be published next week.
Ahead of the reports release, Blokur have given a sneak peak at who topped the list of songwriters on Spotify. Finneas topped the list with his sister Eilish, XXXTentacion, Juice WRLD and Ed Sheeran all making the top 5 as well.

Finneas also topped the list of the top five non-artist songwriters on Spotify surpassing Thomas Hull. Over the course of 2020 Finneas helped co write and produce songs for artists such as Ellish, Demi Lovato, Halsey and Justin Bieber.
Earlier this year in February, it was announced that Finneas will produce his first movie score. The film ‘The Fallout’ released in March and both the film and the score received extremely positive reviews.
