Flavor Flav “Grateful To Be Alive” After Boulder Strikes Car

American rapper Flavor Flav says he’s “grateful to be alive” after a boulder struck his vehicle on Tuesday (December 14).

According to TMZ, the 62-year-old had been driving from Las Vegas to Log Angeles when the freak accident occurred. The boulder reportedly fell from a cliffside in Tuna Canyon, striking the right side of Flav’s car.

Though he briefly lost control of the vehicle, it is understood that he was able to pull up to the side of the road despite significant damage.

Speaking to TMZ, Flav said that he “came very close to death but is super grateful to be alive.”

Flavor Flav is known as one of the founder members of the hip-hop group Public Enemy, which he formed in 1985 with Chuck D. Among their most famous tracks are Fight The Power and Can’t Truss It.
