G-Eazy Strikes Plea Deal In Assault Case

American rapper G-Eazy has agreed to a plea deal in the assault case against him.
The 32-year-old was charged with misdemeanour assault in September, after an altercation with a group of men in the Boom Boom Room at the Standard Hotel.
Now, TMZ reports that G-Eazy will avoid jail time after pleading guilty in a New York courtroom on Monday (November 8). In exchange, the rapper received a lesser charge of disorderly conduct.
As part of his sentence, G-Eazy is expected to attend three Manhattan Justice Opportunity sessions. A court hearing in January will determine if the rapper has fulfilled the court’s orders.
This is not the first time G-Eazy has faced trouble with the law. In 2018 he was arrested for another assault charge and the possession of narcotics in Sweden.
