Gal Gadot Cast As Evil Queen In Disney’s ‘Snow White’

Gal Gadot has joined the cast of Disney’s live-action adaptation of Snow White.

According to Deadline, the Wonder Woman actress is touted to play the Evil Queen. She will feature opposite Rachel Zegler’s, Snow White.

The original 1937 marked Disney’s first-ever animated film. From a budget of just $1.5 million, the feature has gone on to gross over $418 million.

Marc Webb will helm the new iteration, with Marc Platt set to produce. Reportedly writing the music for the feature are Benji Pasek and Justin Paul – the masterminds behind La La Land and The Greatest Showman.

Though Gal Gadot is best known for her work as Wonder Woman, she has also featured in Fast & Furious and Keeping Up with the Joneses. Her latest film, Red Notice, is scheduled for release tomorrow (November 5). She stars alongside Dwayne Johnson and Ryan Reynolds.

The 36-year-old actress is will also appear in Kenneth Branagh’s Death On The Nile, in February 2022.

Production on Snow White is due to begin in 2022.
