‘Game of Thrones’ Actor Max von Sydow Has Died Aged 90
Max von Sydow, the actor who appeared in over 100 films and TV shows, has died at 90-years-old.
According to his family, the actor passed away on Sunday, announcing the news “with a broken heart and infinite sadness.”
He appeared in Minority Report, Shutter Island, The Exorcist and Hannah and Her Sisters, along with making his own films; The Seventh Seal and 10 others — he even appeared in Star Wars: The Force Awakens.
For TV, Sydow picked up sporadic acting spots and voiceover characters for The Simpsons.
In 2016, Max also appeared in Game of Thrones for three episodes.
