George Takei Would Consider Quentin Tarantino’s ‘Star Trek’
Quentin Tarantino recently announced that he would be releasing 10 cinema-based films before retiring his camera.
Star Trek has been on Quentin’s mind for a while now and William Shatner has stated he would love to helm a starship again if his trusty helmsman Sulu joined him one more time.
On Monday, George Takei, the original Sulu, was spotted at LAX and was asked if he’d be keen to appear in the film should Quentin commit to making it.
In a surprising response, George said, “Well, it all depends … He is a very individualistic filmmaker, so he will decide how he envisions it, who he is gonna cast”
He also says that if he were called and asked to join the cast, “It depends on the script,”
