‘Glee’ Star Dot Jones Undergoes Emergency Heart Surgery

Glee star Dot Jones was rushed to hospital by her wife after suffering several burning sensations in her chest. 

The 56-year-old actress underwent emergency heart surgery after experiencing the severe burning sensation, that doctors initially told Dot that she was suffering from bronchial spasms and asthma before Christmas.

A cardiologist who strangely enough treated her wife, Bridgett, in 2017 following a stroke, also found that one of her arteries was 99% blocked — ultimately, giving the name of the condiction as a widowmaker heart attack.

A stent was then placed in Dot’s heart during emergency surgery. She is now at home, recovering and resting with the company of Fancy, the family dog.
