Grammy Awards Announce 2022 ‘Album Of The Year’ Nominees

The Grammy Awards is one of the most coveted awards shows in the music industry and they are back with a new host of nominees for Album of the Year.
2022 will see artists crowned for the work they produced between September 2020 and September 2021.
And one of its most prestigious awards is that which crowns the best album released during the designated time frame.
Previous winners include Taylor Swift (Folklore, 1989, Fearless), Billie Eilish (When We All Fall Asleep, Where Do We Go?), Adele (25, 21), and Kacey Musgraves (Golden Hour).
The 64th edition of the awards show has named the new line-up of nominees and it includes some familiar names.
- We Are – Jon Batiste
- Love For Sale – Tony Bennett & Lady Gaga
- Justice (Triple Chucks Deluxe) – Justin Bieber
- Planet Her – Doja Cat
- Happier Than Ever – Billie Eilish
- Back Of My Mind – H.E.R.
- Montero – Lil Nas X
- Sour – Olivia Rodrigo
- Evermore – Taylor Swift
- Donda – Kanye West
Swift is nominated for the second year running after Folklore was crowned the best of the bunch last year.
Eilish’s earned the accolade the year prior with her debut album.
While the two are set to be resounding favourites to pick up another Grammy in this category, the likes of Doja Cat, Lil Nas X and Olivia Rodrigo cannot be ruled out after a chart-dominating year.
The 2022 Grammys will take place on Monday 31 January in Los Angeles.
