Grimes Reveals Who Influences Her The Most

Grimes has described South Korean rapper and Big Bang member G-Dragon as an icon and one of her biggest influences.

The American pop singer recently uploaded a video to her TikTok, on July 26, where she did her own take on the popular “what’s in my bag” challenge.

Grimes showcased a variety of non-conventional items which wouldn’t actually fit into a bag such as a poster frame and a mic stand.

One of the items she showed was her “prized” copy of G-Dragon’s first solo mini-album ‘One Of A Kind’.

Fans soon took notice of the album and began to share their excitement in the comments about Grimes interest in the South Korean rapper.

“SHE LIKES G DRAGON,” one fan commented.

Grimes replied saying: “Literally G-Dragon is an icon and a god. One of my biggest influences.”

The singer also replied to a fan who commented about a possible collaboration between the two artists and mentioned that she could ask BLACKPINK’s Jennie to contact the rapper.

“Actually, you’re inspiring me to bother G-Dragon… Jennie knows him, I could ask her to please poke him maybe,” she said.

Earlier this week, Grimes shared images of her outing to the SpaceX facility with Jennie. Fans have since speculated that the two artists might be collaborating on a new track.
