Gwendoline Christie Latest Star Cast In Tim Burton’s ‘Wednesday’

Gwendoline Christie is the latest star to join the cast of Tim Burton’s Addams Family series, Wednesday.
Deadline reports that Christie will portray Larissa Weems, the principle of Nevermore Academy with a grudge against former classmate Mortica Adams.
The new series, directed by Tim Burton, was created by Al Gough and Miles Millar for Netflix.
Christie’s new co-stars include Jenna Ortega, Catherine Zeta-Jones, Luis Guzmán, Isaac Ordonez, George Burcea and Victor Dorobantu.
Wednesday follows the first school years of the Addams family daughter, Wednesday (Ortega). At school she attempts to master her emerging psychic ability, thwart a monstrous killing spree and solve a mystery that embroiled her parents 25 years ago.
This is not the first Netflix project which Christie has been attached to. She is due to appear in upcoming series The Sandman – based on the DC comic book.
Gwendoline Christie is best known for her portrayal of Brienne of Tarth in Game of Thrones and her roles in Star Wars: The Force Awakens and Star Wars: The Last Jedi.
