Hilary Duff Confirms ‘Lizzie McGuire’ Reboot Halted By Disney+
Hilary Duff has provided a much needed Lizzie McGuire update.
The 32-year-old has confirmed that production of the reboot has been halted by Disney+ in response to the coronavirus pandemic.
Duff has also revealed that she is “still talking to [the team] weekly,” furthering, “They were shooting and then everything was put on hold. And we’re just kind of figuring out if we can make this happen.”
She was asked by Cosmo whether other characters would be returning, including Miranda and Paolo from The Lizzie McGuire Movie, to which Hilary replied, “There were plans for a lot of people to be in the show, so, um, I already know some of those things but I don’t know about Paolo. I think she’d probably be pretty mad to see him.”
