Ice Cube Awarded $21 Million In Defamation Lawsuit
Ice Cube’s BIG3 Basketball league has been awarded $21 million.
In 2017, BIG3 sued the Champions League after the CBL claimed they were defrauded by the BIG3 due to them not allowing players to play for both leagues.
In a defamation lawsuit against the Champions League, a judgement was awarded in favour of BIG3.
BIG3 was founded by Ice Cube — which famously hosts mostly retired NBA players.
Originally, CBL sued BIG3 for $250 million but that case was dismissed.
