Petito was reported missing by her family earlier this month after they had not heard from the travel blogger since late August.
Suspicions were cast on Petito’s boyfriend, Brain Laundrie, after police reportedly attended a domestic disturbance between the couple.
He is currently the prime suspect in the blogger’s death and the FBI are actively trying to locate him.
Petito’s body was found on Sunday, September 19 in the Bridger-Teton National Forest in Wyoming.
