Jacob Scipio Joins Leslie Grace In ‘Batgirl’

Jacob Scipio is to star opposite Leslie Grace in DC and Warner Bros‘ upcoming film, Batgirl.

Deadline reports that Scipio will join the cast which already includes the likes of Grace and J.K and Simmons. Co-directors Adil El Arbi and Bilall Fallah have previously worked with Scipio on Bad Boys for Life.

Exactly what part Scipio will play in Batgirl is unknown.

Plot details for the new addition to the DCEU are being kept firmly under wraps. Batgirl, also known as Barbara Gordon, features as one of Batman‘s female sidekicks in the comic books. She is the daughter of Commissioner Gordon (played by Simmons).

Currently, Scipio is reportedly working on The Expendables 4. He enjoyed other roles in The Outpost and Without Remorse.

Batgirl will be the first addition to the DCEU to be released exclusively to HBO Max.
