Jamie Lynn Spears Reveals Parents Pushed Her To Have An Abortion

Jamie Lynn Spears has revealed in her new book that her parents tried to convince to have an abortion when she was pregnant at 16. 

According to TMZ, who claim to have seen several snippets from Spears upcoming book Things I Should Have Said, Spears claims that she went through “hell” when pregnant at 16.

In one passage from the book, Spears claims that people from her inner circle tried to convince her that having a baby at that point in her life was a “terrible idea”.

“It will kill your career. You are just too young. You don’t know what you’re doing. There are pills you can take. We can help you take care of this problem … I know a doctor,” Spears claims people close to her said.

Spears goes on to say that her parents prevented her from telling her sister Britney about the pregnancy and that it is something that hurts her to this day.

“I needed her more than ever and she wasn’t able to help me in my most vulnerable time. To this day, the hurt of not being able to tell my sister myself still lingers,” she says.

Jamie Lynn Spears new book Things I Should Have Said is set for release next year on January 18, 2022.
