Jason Alexander has reunited with co-star Julia Louis-Dreyfus from the 80s sitcom, Seinfeld.
The 60-year-old actor was on Instagram Live, a popular choice for quarantining stars, where they discussed the series finale and the hysteria behind keeping show secrets.
According to the pair, walls had to be put up to ensure the paparazzi were unable to capture any photographs from the finale shoot as spoilers towards the end of the series were on high demand. Julia said, “I remember thinking at that time, ‘Seriously? Who gives a s***?’”
Alexander went on to say even his own publicist wanted some of the spoiler action, explaining, “My own publicist – I don’t know if this came for you, too – my publicist was asking me if I was willing to leak out some secrets for money … And I went, ‘They’ll kill us! How can you do that?’”
Louis-Dreyfus begged that he fired the publicist, which he joked, “No, I gave him a raise,” – the show was viewed by 76.3 million people and ended on May 14, 1998.
