Jason Momoa Tests Positive For COVID-19

Jason Momoa has tested positive for COVID-19 following the premiere of Dune.

The 42-year-old actor updated fans through his Instagram story on Friday.

“I got hit with Covid right after the premiere,” he wrote. “There was a lot of people I met in England, so got a lot of aloha from people. And who knows?”

“Thank you for all your concerns and love,” he added. “And yeah, I’m just camped out in my house. Mahalo for all the love and support.”

In a later update, the Aquaman star said he was “having a ball” in isolation with his roommate, skateboarder Erik Ellington.

Momoa portrays Duncan Idaho in the newly released Dune picture, helmed by Denis Villeneuve. A sequel film has already been confirmed in the wake of its critical and box office success.
