Jeffrey Epstein: Ghislaine Maxwell Arrested & Charged By FBI With Six Federal Crimes Including Enticement Of Minors

Ghislaine Maxwell has been arrested and charged by the Federal Bureau of Investigation.

The 58-year-old former girlfriend of Jeffrey Epstein was arrested in New Hampshire by the FBI forming part of an ongoing investigation into alleged sex trafficking of minors.

She is being held without bail as of Thursday, July 2, on child sex-trafficking charges, with charges totalling six accounts including enticement of a minor to travel to engage in illegal sex acts, two counts of perjury, conspiracy to transport minors with intent to engage in criminal sexual activity and transportation of a minor with intent to engage in criminal sexual activity.

A judge said, “Miss Maxwell, you are remanded to the custody of the United States Marshal,” and is accused of “grooming three underage victims for sex with Epstein in places including his Upper East Side townhouse, New Mexico, Florida and London.”

In the indictment, it reads, “The victims were as young as 14-years-old when they were groomed and abused by Maxwell and Epstein, both of whom knew that certain victims were in fact under the age of 18,”
