Jennifer Hudson receives praise for her role in the 2021 film Respect where she plays Aretha Franklin.
The film was directed by Liesl Tommy and received mixed reviews from the critics.
However for Jennifer Hudson’s performance she received a lot of praise.
Hudson spoke bout the film release and meeting Aretha Franklin back in 2004, she took to her Instagram:
