Jennifer Lopez & Alex Rodriguez Celebrate Engagement In Los Angeles

Jennifer Lopez and Alex Rodriguez are celebrating their engagement with friends and family.

Alex and Jennifer announced their engagement in March this year after dating for two years; the former MLB star surprised J Lo during their Bahamas getaway.

According to sources, their children will “definitely” play a large role in their wedding.

The insider told PEOPLE, “For them both, they are still all about their family with the four kids. Their initial strong attraction for each other would have quickly faded if they had not been able to come together as a family,”

During a discussion with Entertainment Tonight earlier this month, she said, “We’re talking about it [the wedding], but we don’t have firm plans. We’re talking about a lot of places but I don’t know yet,”

Alex has different plans though, it would seem, after he revealed on J Lo’s YouTube channel, “Now it’s been three years now … [We’ll get married] soon, not soon-soon but next year.” furthering, “I’d like a big wedding, I’d like to get married in a church this time. Never been married in a church.”
