John Singleton suffered a major stroke last week and his mother is trying to be named his conservator.

According to legal documentation, seen by unCrazed, his mother, Shiela Ward, wants to be named conservator so she is able to “make all medical decisions for the proposed conservatee.”

In the documents, it reads, “[T]he proposed conservatee suffered a major stroke. He is currently hospitalised in a coma and is unable to provide for his personal needs.”

Currently, according to the documents, there is a “financial emergency” and Shiela requires a temporary conservator and to be named with immediate effect.

Furthering in the documentation, it says, “At the time he suffered a stroke, [John] was engaged in several business projects and was prepared to sign a lucrative settlement agreement … A temporary conservator must be appointed immediately and without notice as a legal representative must be in place to make medical decisions for my son to handle his business affairs and to execute the aforementioned settlement agreement on or about April 30, 2019.”

There is a worry that is she isn’t the conservator, “substantial financial loss will result to the proposed conservatee’s estate”

According to a physician who submitted a declaration, John suffered “major impairment to motor skills and psychological functions, including his ability to ‘reason logically’”

A judge has to rule on the request, which is yet to happen.
