Top Gun: Maverick director, Joseph Kosinski has bagged his next film project, with an adaptation of graphic novel ‘Chariot‘.

The graphic novel was written by Bryan Edward Hill.

Deadline reports that Warner Bros. secured the film rights and Julian Meiojas has been enlisted to write the script. Shawn Levy and Dan Cohen will produce.

Chariot is described as a sci-fi thriller which crosses The Matrix with True Romance. The premise will allegedly follow a top-secret Cold War project. The project focuses on a state-of-the-art car, known as The Chariot, gifted to a top agent. The car sank to the bottom of the ocean, only to be uncovered decades later with the agent’s consciousness still controlling it.
