Josephine Gillan Claims Israeli Social Services “Kidnapped” Her Child

Josephine Gillan who played the prostitute Marei on HBO‘s Game of Thrones has asked the public for help after she claims Israeli child welfare took her daughter. 

She explained the situation via a GoFundMe page last week, claiming the Israeli child welfare authorities took her 8-month-old daughter away while she attends “therapy for postnatal depression.”

In her explanation on the fund-raising page, she said, “the social services came in the night at 12:30am … with the police,” and “kidnapped,” her daughter and “took her to “another family,”

Furthering on her claim, Josephine says, “I’m not allowed to see her or have contact … I have no idea where she is … I was not there at the time and was not aware of what they had done … It’s absolutely outrageous,”

Posting a video on Twitter, the actress captioned, “The disturbing moment that the Israeli social services kidnapped my baby! At 12:3opm at night on Sunday. My friend pleaded … but was threatened to jail if she did not hand over my baby! Me and loving friend and her family. We are all heartbroken!”
