Julia Butters Added To Cast Of New Steven Spielberg Film

Julia Butters has joined the cast of Steven Spielberg’s new autobiographical film.

According to Deadline, Butters will play the sister of Spielberg (played by Gabriel LaBelle).

The 12-year-old made a name for herself following her role opposite Leonardo DiCaprio and Brad Pitt in Once Upon A Time… In Hollywood.

Details on Spielberg’s new and untitled project are sparse, but the story is purportedly loosely based on the director’s own childhood in Arizona.

Co-written by Speilberg and Tony Kushner, other cast members include Seth Rogen, Michelle Williams, Paul Dano and Gabrielle LaBelle. This will be the time film since ‘A.I. Artificial Intelligence‘ that Spielberg accepts a co-writer credit.

Filming for the new project is rumoured to begin in the summer, with a 2022 release date.
