Jussie Smollett Officially A “Suspect” In Alleged Attack

Jussie Smollett is “officially classified as a suspect in a criminal investigation … for filing a false police report”, according to Chicago Police Department. 

Detectives are now presenting evidence to a Cook Country Grand Jury in relation to Jussie’s invesgstion — if charged, he faces a maximum three-year prison sentence. 

According to sources, the two brothers involved are at the courthouse expected to testify. 

The brothers claim Jussie paid then $3,500 before the attack but sources claim that was for training and dietary regimen.

Counter-sources then say this was an overpayment — without directly stating this was for staging the attack, they feel it’s clear the extra money paid via a cheque was for what speculation believes. 

The payment was made shortly before the attack and the memo line was for training.
