Jussie Smollett’s ‘Empire’ Scenes Getting The Cut

Jussie Smollett’s role in Empire seems to be taking a hit in light of allegations suggesting he staged the attack.

Sources connected to the production of Empire are saying Jussie had 9 scenes plus a musical number in the second to last episode but 5 have been cut — leaving 4 remaining — but even those aren’t a focus anymore… and his musical feature has been dropped.

Further information from sources insist that Jussie won’t be rehearing and has ultimately been forced to spend less time on set. In fact, he will only work possibly Thursday and Friday this week — he was supposed to work every day.

As we told you yesterday, rumours circulated suggesting Jussie would meet with Chicago Police Department but his PR representative stated otherwise.

We’re told writers have scrambled to revise the script in the last 24 hours.
