Kanye West’s ‘DONDA’ Event Becomes Most Watched Apple Music Livestream

Kanye West’s second DONDA listening event last week was reportedly the most watched Apple Music livestream ever.
The rapper hosted the event last week on Thursday, August 5 to give fans a preview at his upcoming new album.
West also livestreamed directly from his dressing room living quarters at the Mercedes-Benz Stadium in Atalanta ahead of the show.
Fans where able to watch the rapper recording music, exercising and sleeping for a number of hours from his living quarters at the stadium.
West, decided to stay at the Mercedes-Benz Stadium last month after his first listening event so that he could finish working working on the album.
According to Billboard, the livestream attracted a massive 5.4 million viewers making it most watched livestream ever on Apple Music.
They also reported that West made $7 million from in-person merchandise sales during the listening event.

Currently, DONDA is scheduled for release on August 13 after being delayed twice from its original release date of July 23.
