Katy Perry Performs At Opening Night For ‘PLAY’ In Las Vegas
Katy Perry began her residency at The Resort World Theater in Las Vegas to kick off her Katy Perry: Play series.
The 37-year-old pop icon played nineteen songs, combining her classics and some new surprises – including her debut new track When I’m Gone.
Running until March 19, 2022, Perry’s show is split into six Toy Story-inspired acts. According to We Got This Covered, Perry “said the show was inspired by the movies Honey, I Shrunk the Kids and Pee Wee’s Big Adventure”.
The star posted a video to Instagram the night before the show, writing,
“Are you ready to #PLAY? ? See you TONIGHT at ✨♥️?PERRY PLAYLAND?♥️✨”
