Kurt Sutter ‘Sons Of Anarchy’ Creator Fired By Disney

Kurt Sutter seemingly trolled Disney with a cryptic post 14 hours before he was fired.
The former Mayans M.C. showrunner posted to Instagram on Wednesday evening the iconic Mickey’s Fun Wheel at Disney’s California Adventure in Anaheim.
He captioned the post, “The happiest place on earth…” and disabled the comments 14 hours before he was fired on Thursday from FX.
In a letter, obtained by The Hollywood Reporter, Kurt was fired for being an “abrasive d***” and allegedly told the Mayans M.C. cast that he had been fired by after Disney HR “conducted an investigation into the unacceptable conditions that have been created on the set of Mayans in season 2.”
As part of a $71.3 billion merger with The Walk Disney Company, FOX and associated companies including FX became one with Disney. Reports claim that Kurt’s overall deal with 20th Century Fox TV remains intact.
He recently stated that “I’m not sure what the fate of Mayans M.C. holds. But if it continues, you’ll still be in good hands,” as currently, it remains unclear if the show will continue after season 2.
