Kylian Mbappé Could Miss PSG’s Crunch UCL Tie Against Real Madrid

Paris Saint-German forward Kylian Mbappé is a major doubt for their upcoming Champions League clash against Real Madrid. 

The 23-year-old was the key difference maker in the first leg, scoring the only goal of the game in the final minutes.

A training clip saw teammate Idrissa Gueye step on Mbappé’s foot, leaving the Madrid-linked player in a heap on the floor. PSG confirmed that Mbappè has “undergone treatment” on Monday afternoon.

“The medical tests are reassuring and another update will be in 24 [hours],” the club website read.

Despite being an injury doubt, the Frenchman has travelled to Madrid with the squad ahead of Wednesday’s tie.

The winner will progress to the quarter-finals of the Champions League.
