Loki Confirmed As Marvel’s First On-Screen Bisexual Character

Loki has been confirmed as the first bisexual character in the Marvel Cinematic Universe in the latest episode of the Disney+ show.
Tom Hiddleston’s character confirms the news during a conversation with Loki variant Sylvie.
The different Loki variants reflect the character’s canonised gender fluidity.
As the pair discuss their dating history Sylvie says “You’re a prince. Must’ve been would-be princesses, or perhaps another prince?”
“A bit of both, I suspect the same as you,” Loki replies.
Director Kate Herron took to social media to express how happy she was with the news.
“From the moment I joined @LokiOfficial it was very important to me, and my goal, to acknowledge Loki was bisexual. It is a part of who he is and who I am too. I know this is a small step but I’m happy, and my heart is so full, to say that this is now canon in #mcu.” Herron said.
This is the first time Marvel have acknowledged Loki’s sexuality and gender despite his character being described as gender-fluid and pansexual in the comics.
Loki is streaming now every week on Disney+.
