‘Love & Hip Hop’ Star, Teairra Mari, Loses In Revenge Porn Lawsuit Against 50 Cent

Earlier in 2018, Love & Hip Hop star, Teairra Mari, filed a lawsuit against 50 Cent and her ex-boyfriend saying they exploited her and released a graphic video that featured “ejaculate” on her face. 

Teairra claimed that her ex-boyfriend logged into her personal Instagram account and posted the video — shortly after, 50 Cent did the same thing but applied a “black and white” filter on the image with the caption “get the strap” which she claims was possibly a reference to encourage fans to cause harm to her.

50 Cent denies the allegations and is adamant that by the time he posted it on his Instagram, the image was already viral.

A Los Angeles judge ordered her entire case to be thrown out. This follows after she “failed to prosecute her case,” by failing to appear for a scheduled hearing. Her case against her ex-boyfriend, Akbar Abdul-Ahad, was thrown out alongside her case against 50 Cent — Teairra claims 50 Cent and Akbar conspired together in order to leak the graphic video.

Overall, following the case being dismissed, 50 Cent has been awarded $30,618 in attorney fees and expressed his innocence by saying the image he shared didn’t show any sexual act in progress nor genitals.

Teairra has said 50 Cent had “no remorse and no regard” and claims he “complained that IG [Instagram] was censoring him” after the photo was taken down.
