Britney Spears’ mother, Lynne Spears, has filed a request in court to be included in decisions over the singers’ finances.

The 38-year-old Toxic singer has been under conservatorship since 2008 after experiencing a very public mental breakdown that led to her needing ongoing support.

Lynne has filed legal documentation, seen by unCrazed, to the Los Angeles County Courts asking to be included in any “special notice” of “all matters” relating to Britney’s trust.

In an effort to protect her multi-million dollar assets as she rose to stardom, Spears filed the SJB Revocable Trust in 2004 which set out to “hold and manage her material financial assets during her lifetime, and provide distribution of those assets upon her death.”

If Lynne is authorised as a “Trustee” of the SJB Revocable Trust, she will be involved in any changes or movements of Spears’ $60 million fortune.
