Machine Gun Kelly Wins His First Billboard Music Award
Machine Gun Kelly won two awards at the Billboard Music Awards for top rock artist and top rock album.
This became Kelly’s first and second ever Billboard Award. His album Tickets to My Downfall won ‘top rock album’.
When accepting the award for top rock artist the singer thanked his team, girlfriend and family. The final thank you he had to offer was for, “the box that society keeps trying to put me in,” the signer said with a smile.

He also had some encouraging words for his fans. “If five years or 10 years or 12 years had been too long waiting for this moment, then I wouldn’t be having this moment.” Saying to his fans. “Show the universe that it can’t take your dream from you.” Billboard reports.
His song My Ex’s Best Friend was also nominated for top rock song.
