Man Arrested After Allegedly Stealing From PSG Star Neymar
Brazilian police have reportedly arrested a man on suspicion of hacking into Neymar’s bank accounts.
The individual is said to have stolen more than $40,000, according to São Paulo officials.
A 20-year-old was arrested on Wednesday in connection with the alleged theft.
Neymar was not named in the official police report, but the leading officer on the case told TV show Brazil Urgente that it was the footballer.
He said: “He got the password of his office colleague and stole small amounts of money from famous people with high net worth.”
Neymar’s press officer declined to comment on the investigation when contacted by Reuters.
