Man Arrested Over Threats To Kill Jodie Comer

A man has been arrested by French police after sending threating messages online to ‘Killing Eve’ star Jodie Comer.

The actress reportedly alerted the authorities after receiving a series of threating messages online by an anonymous user.

One of the messages Comer received from the suspected stalker reportedly said: “I am coming to England to create carnage.”

French police have subsequently announced that they have arrested a 44 year-old man at his home in the norther city of Roubaix.

It’s believed that the French police stormed the mans home after receiving information of his location by a group of technology experts.

“Following an official approach by the British authorities, a man was taken into custody for acts of harassment against an English actress,” French prosecutors said in a statement released.

As well sending messages to Comer, the man reportedly sent messages to members of her extended family.

Comer remained absent from Instagram whilst authorities investigated the messages however she has now since returned to the platform but limited comments on her posts.
